Wasabi R&D pt1

After numerous failure from cultivating store-brought wasabi, I tried unconventional methodologies to cultivate wasabi in tropical Singapore such as using store-brought carrot as control setup.
The carrot is still thriving.

I restarted my wasabi project recently and tried different control setup, and it seem that placing wasabi in moving water performed the best growth of both stems and leaves. However there arent roots to be seen.

As you can see, the wasabi grown in a water bottle filled with compost/coco coir performed the worst. Ice is added periodically for both bottles. All wasabi are grown in 21°C and below for this project.
